On Friday, May 17th, from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m., the Kindergarten class, with the approval of Mr. Kline and Mrs. Bennett, will engage in an on-campus field trip (outside or in the Parish Center). An animal science professional from Warm and Fuzzy Animal Adventures will bring in various animals and will be speaking to the class about the adaptations and characteristics of the animals (including mammals, birds, and reptiles), as well as, what these animals eat and information about their native habitats. In addition to the learning aspect of the field trip, the children will also be provided with the opportunity to engage in a petting/touching portion of the event.  The cost of this in-school experience is $5.00, and payment is due on the school store by Friday, May 10th, 2024.  If you do not wish for your children to touch or to pet the animals, we will make sure they are otherwise occupied during that portion of the event.  Thank you in advance for filling out this permission slip and returning it to us by Friday, May 10, 2024.
